Quickstart
Claude Connectors is Claude.ai's native MCP integration. Connect Watt Data directly from Settings with no SDK or code required.
Prerequisites
- Claude.ai account on Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plan
- Watt API key
Connect to Watt
Pro / Max (Individual)
- Go to Settings > Connectors
- Select Add custom connector
- Enter the MCP server URL:
https://api.wattdata.ai/v2/mcp - Enter your API key when prompted
- Click Add
Team / Enterprise
An admin must enable the connector for the organization first.
Admin setup:
- Navigate to Admin settings > Connectors
- Select Add custom connector
- Enter the MCP server URL:
https://api.wattdata.ai/v2/mcp - Click Add
Member connection (after admin setup):
- Go to Settings > Connectors
- Find the Watt Data connector (labeled "Custom")
- Click Connect
Enable in Conversations
- Click + in the lower left of the chat interface
- Select Connectors
- Enable the Watt Data connector for that conversation
Once connected, type a prompt directly in Claude:
Gen Z home cooking enthusiasts with $100k+ household income interested in culinary tourism or cooking events
After generating the audience, return a CSV download URL.Claude will call the Watt tools automatically and build your audience.
